戰爭在應許之地
有沒有搞錯
事實上便是如此
我很難想像
誰能踐踏這應許之地的神聖

四王藉著五王叛亂
侵略迦南地
搞定五王之後接續搞定迦南
羅得被擄
迦南失守

領受神應許迦南美地的主人這才出手

雖是孤軍奮鬥
但如千軍萬馬
征戰有神幫助
奪回被擄一切


這是一場有份量的戰爭
計畫周全
只待得逞
迦南地盡在手中

但基大老瑪萬萬沒想到
就算自己夠聰明有經驗
在四王之中堪稱為大老
在這樣的戰爭中定能輕易獲勝的感覺良好
更何況是老江湖打初心者
這閉上眼睛想都知道結果

但千算萬算都沒來得及上帝的一個心算
原來迦南地的主人上主已經給了亞伯蘭


這故事告訴我們

爭戰在乎耶和華的臂膀高舉
倚靠上帝才是最有福氣的人

過去如此
現今也是如此
迦南地如此
教會也是如此
亞伯蘭如此
你我也是如此






創世記

1 當暗拉非作示拿王，亞略作以拉撒王，基大老瑪作以攔王，提達作戈印王的時候，
In the days of Am'raphel king of Shinar, Ar'ioch king of Ella'sar, Ched-or-lao'mer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goi'im,
14:2 他們都攻打所多瑪王比拉、蛾摩拉王比沙、押瑪王示納、洗扁王善以別，和比拉王；比拉就是瑣珥。
these kings made war with Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomor'rah, Shinab king of Admah, Sheme'ber king of Zeboi'im, and the king of Bela (that is, Zo'ar).
14:3 這五王都在西訂谷會合；西訂谷就是鹽海。
And all these joined forces in the Valley of Siddim (that is, the Salt Sea).
14:4 他們已經事奉基大老瑪十二年，到十三年就背叛了。
Twelve years they had served Ched-or-lao'mer, but in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
14:5 十四年，基大老瑪和同盟的王都來在亞特律‧加寧，殺敗了利乏音人，在哈麥殺敗了蘇西人，在沙微‧基列亭殺敗了以米人，
In the fourteenth year Ched-or-lao'mer and the kings who were with him came and subdued the Reph'aim in Ash'teroth-karna'im, the Zuzim in Ham, the Emim in Sha'veh-kiriatha'im,
14:6 在何利人的西珥山殺敗了何利人，一直殺到靠近曠野的伊勒‧巴蘭。
and the Horites in their Mount Se'ir as far as El-paran on the border of the wilderness;
14:7 他們回到安‧密巴，就是加低斯，殺敗了亞瑪力全地的人，以及住在哈洗遜‧他瑪的亞摩利人。
then they turned back and came to Enmish'pat (that is, Kadesh), and subdued all the country of the Amal'ekites, and also the Amorites who dwelt in Haz'azon-ta'mar.
14:8 於是所多瑪王、蛾摩拉王、押瑪王、洗扁王，和比拉王（比拉就是瑣珥）都出來，在西訂谷擺陣，與他們交戰，
Then the king of Sodom, the king of Gomor'rah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboi'im, and the king of Bela (that is, Zo'ar) went out, and they joined battle in the Valley of Siddim
14:9 就是與以攔王基大老瑪、戈印王提達、示拿王暗拉非、以拉撒王亞略交戰；乃是四王與五王交戰。
with Ched-or-lao'mer king of Elam, Tidal king of Goi'im, Am'raphel king of Shinar, and Ar'ioch king of Ella'sar, four kings against five.
14:10 西訂谷有許多石漆坑。所多瑪王和蛾摩拉王逃跑，有掉在坑裡的，其餘的人都往山上逃跑。
Now the Valley of Siddim was full of bitumen pits; and as the kings of Sodom and Gomor'rah fled, some fell into them, and the rest fled to the mountain.
14:11 四王就把所多瑪和蛾摩拉所有的財物，並一切的糧食都擄掠去了；
So the enemy took all the goods of Sodom and Gomor'rah, and all their provisions, and went their way;
14:12 又把亞伯蘭的姪兒羅得和羅得的財物擄掠去了。當時羅得正住在所多瑪。
they also took Lot, the son of Abram's brother, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
14:13 有一個逃出來的人告訴希伯來人亞伯蘭；亞伯蘭正住在亞摩利人幔利的橡樹那裡。幔利和以實各並亞乃都是弟兄，曾與亞伯蘭聯盟。
Then one who had escaped came, and told Abram the Hebrew, who was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and of Aner; these were allies of Abram.
14:14 亞伯蘭聽見他姪兒【原文是弟兄】被擄去，就率領他家裡生養的精練壯丁三百一十八人，直追到但，
When Abram heard that his kinsman had been taken captive, he led forth his trained men, born in his house, three hundred and eighteen of them, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.
14:15 便在夜間，自己同僕人分隊殺敗敵人，又追到大馬士革北邊的何把，
And he divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and routed them and pursued them to Hobah, north of Damascus.
14:16 將被擄掠的一切財物奪回來，連他姪兒羅得和他的財物，以及婦女、人民也都奪回來。
Then he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his kinsman Lot with his goods, and the women and the people.
